Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Roberts Block Creative Arts Therapy Centre?

Roberts Block is a Grade 1 historic building. Following its revitalisation, it has become a Creative Arts Therapy Centre that integrates heritage conservation with community services, offering experiential programmes and educational activities focused on art and mental wellbeing.

What services does the Centre provide?

We provide services and activities related to creative arts therapies, including art therapy, dance movement therapy, drama therapy, expressive arts therapy, music therapy, and play therapy. We also regularly host experiential workshops, themed lectures, interactive exhibitions, and community events, with courses and groups tailored to different audiences.

Is the venue easily accessible?

Currently, some barrier-free facilities are still under construction and are expected to be completed in 2027. Accessing the Centre at this time requires navigating slopes and stairs. We advise visitors who require assistance to budget extra travel time and arrange to be accompanied if possible.

Can I visit or join a guided tour?

The Centre accepts bookings for visits, guided tours, and educational activities, though prior registration is required. Actual arrangements depend on the type of activity, date, and venue availability.

How do I sign up for services or activities?

Please register through the Centre’s website, WhatsApp, or email. For group activities, we recommend contacting us via email or through our website first. Please provide the number of participants, their age range, and the goal of your session. This will help us to make the necessary arrangements.

Is advanced booking required to visit?

All visitors must book in advance. Registration is required for all services and activities, particularly individual therapy sessions, collaborations with schools or organisations, and group guided tours. This allows us to arrange appropriate staffing and venue space.
